Another entertaining match with positive batting after being restricted to only 8 runs off the first 3 overs. Will batted through the early rain, deciding not to run himself or any of his partners out. He was well supported in 2 x 50 partnerships with Elliott & Alastair & we reached our pre match target of 130. Bowling & fielding was generally good in the wet conditions with Jake taking an important wicket in his first over. Top scorer Christian Cameron was then run out in the 8th over. However, the excitement level went up in the 9th over when Charlie Yorke-Starkey was introduced into the attack. with balls 3,4 & 5 he removed batsmen 4,5 & 6. ALL CLEAN BOWLED. A magnificent hat trick. North London never recovered & 2 more run outs followed, Connor picked up a wicket as did Mohsin with his only ball which totally bamboozled the NLCC number 9.
A very satisfying win.
