Welcome, Damo
We are delighted to announce that Damian (aka Damo or Brick) Wall will arrive from Sydney next Thursday, May 10, and will be our Overseas player in the 1s this season.
Damo is 24, and is an aggressive opening batsman. Last season he regularly opened the batting for Randwick Petersham, one of the top club sides in Sydney, helping them finish 4th in the Sydney First Grade League.At RP he played alongside Aussie Test stars Khawaja, Katich and Hauritz...and our own Monty Panesar!
Damo is dead keen to contribute to the Midd in any way he can. As well as hopefully scoring shedloads of runs , this will include coaching our Colts and helping out groundsman Oz. Please give him a great North Midd welcome.

Colts News Update
March 2012
North Midd Colts - Third in whole of Middlesex!
North Midd came third out of all the 80 Middlesex Colts Clubs in 2011 in the Victor Ludorum Trophy. This is awarded on comparative results at Under 11, 13 and 15 age Groups. Only Ealing and Eastcote both of whom have probably twice as many Colts and professional coaches were ahead of us. This is a great testimony to all the hard work our volunteer Coaches and Colts put in during 2011.

Presentation of Georgie Willett Trophy
Presentation of Georgie Willett Trophy by First XI Captain, Adam Holmes, to 2011 winner, Ben Owen. This Trophy (previously the Mike Barber) is awarded annually to the Colt who makes the greatest all round contribution to North Midd. We have renamed it in memory of our much loved Colt, Georgie Willett, who passed away in 2011. Ben is a worthy first winner of the new Cup for his 110% commitment to the Club on and off the field.
Under 11s Tour of Amsterdam
Another news item is our Under 11s tour to Amsterdam in April. This is partly to celebrate their Gubby Allen Under 10 triumph last Season meaning that they were the Middlesex Champs. Richard Sutton-Mattocks, their manager, is organising the Tour which includes a game against the full Holland Under 11 International team. More details of the fixtures are as follows –
Saturday 28th April v VRA U11s, 9.30am start at VRA's ground just outside Amsterdam http://www.vra.nl/
Sunday 29th April v Netherlands U11/12s, probably also a morning game at VRA http://www.kncb.nl/
