Fantastic to see so many old faces at the Midd on Saturday night. Ex overseas and Club Skipper Brad Sculley headed the surprise attractions over from Australia. Alongside him were a gang of other superb "players" (in every sense of the word) and a great night was had by all. Various Midd traditions were observed, including Dykey leading Oasis singalongs with the Club guitar, the Rev reviving the Club song and Millsy giving his inevitable speech. Gather proceedings ended around 4.30am.

Great to hear how much the Midd still means to people who now live on the other side of the World. As well as Mr Sculley, Mick Abrahmsen (a good player who helped the Juniors enormously when living in London several years ago) was over from Aus on his honeymoon and rescheduled plans not to miss a Midd night out. Hope his charming wife enjoyed herself as much as Mick clearly did!
