Great to report that both Ethan Bamber and Luke Hollman (shown in their England kit on far left and right of the pic) have been included in the 18-man Young Lions squad selected for the first half of the winter programme in South Africa which continues after Christmas with the ICC Under-19s World Cup in New Zealand. As you will all know, Ethan and Luke have been playing for the Midd since they were little boys and am sure all at the Club are tremendously proud of what they have achieved. This latest accolade is their highest yet.

On being congratulated, Ethan ever modest replied "was very surprised and humbled".

Pete Hollman, justifiably euphoric, texted "totally awesome. Very proud to be associated with NMCC and their second to none Colts' structure".

By way of background, the Young Lions were formerly known as the England Development Squad, and introduce the most talented young players to international cricket through the England Under-19s.
