Could be historic day for the Midd - don't miss it

We are the Middlesex Club with most league points across top 3 teams
- Tom Nicoll

Following wins for 1s (ninth on the bounce), 2s, 3s and 4s and winning draw for 5s last Saturday, excitement is nearing fever pitch at the Midd. One more game to go. For our 1s and 2s its all to play for!

More detailed update from Skipper Tom Nicoll -

1st XI - 2nd. If we beat Shepherd's Bush away and Teddington lose to Stanmore, we will be Premier League Champs for the first time in our history. We won the First XI League in 1990 before introduction of the Prem.

2nd XI - 1st. If we beat Ealing at home , we will be champions of the 2nd XI Premier League again for the first time ever.

3rd XI - 4th. Dead rubber for us, we will finish 4th (however the team we are playing are in the running for the title).

4th XI - 7th. We were in the relegation zone a few weeks ago, however some form at the back end of the season has seen us to 72 points and safe from relegation. A huge credit to Pat and his team.

5th XI - 9th. After a great run and promotion in 2015, the 5s are unfortunately relegated. This is not for a lack of trying from Arj and Rich, who have spent most the season looking for players!!

On a separate note, we are the Middlesex Club with the most league points across the top 3 teams. What an achievement!

1s 2s 3s Total
N Midd 117 118 125 360
Richmond 102 116 137 355
Ealing 97 95 136 328
Teddington 123 114 89 326
Hampstead 73 91 139 303
