Based on his batting performances through the County Season, including his 243 v Kent, Joe Cracknell received the male Youth Player of 2017 Award at Middlesex CCC's end of Season lunch at Lords. Joe was presented with his Trophy by an effervescent Phil Tufnell. Joe is a regular in the Midd's First XI and has been around the Club almost since he could walk.
This latest accolade sit happily alongside the Midd's own Junior of the Year Award which Crackers won at Club Day.

The good news continues with Guyatri (aka Lulu) Gole winning Middlesex CCC's female Youth Player Award for 2017. This is in recognition of the contribution made by Lulu to the Middlesex Women's team with ball and bat. Lulu, who is away at Uni so couldn't make the Lunch, plays for the Midd's senior teams and has turned in some match winning performaces for the Club in 2017.
