Another North Midd Academy player in M.sex Elite Group

Max Harris in Middlesex Emerging Player Group

After a successful Season playing youth cricket for Middlesex , am delighted to report that Max Harris has been invited to join Middlesex’ Emerging Player Group (previously known as the Middlesex Academy). The EPG is the stepping stone to senior county cricket and Max will follow in the footsteps of other North Midd stars Ethan Bamber, Joe Cracknell and Luke Hollman.

Max is 17, hugely talented, best known for his destructive batting and the variety he brings to his bowling. He joined North Midd as an Under 8 in 2009 and has played for all our age group teams and senior teams. He made his senior debut in our 5s and quickly moved up through the grades to make his First XI debut in 2017.

Brian Johnston award for Luke Hollman

On Monday the Hollman family were invited to Lords Long Room for a black-tie dinner organised by Brian Johnson Memorial Trust.

The personal invite from David Graveney came because Luke had won the Trust’s Elite spin bowling programme medal of achievement award & would be presented with a commemorative medal.

Following the award Luke and another winner, Luke Doneathy, an up & coming Durham all-rounder who scored a 100 in the ESCA v MCC Schools match, were interviewed by Chris Cowdrey.
