North Midd beat Richmond on Sunday to reach the Final which will be played at Richmond on 9 September against Harrow St Marys.

Batting first on the same track as that used in yesterday's win against Hampstead, the Midd amassed an impressive 302 for 4 in their 45 overs. Joe Cracknell (56), Luke Hollman (116 not out) shared a blistering opening partnership of 126. After Cracknell departed, Rob "the Beast" Fahrenheim (66) put on 116 with Hollman. Adam Price (22 not out) then joined Hollman to take the score over 300.

Richmond's run chase was on target until some fine catching and fielding derailed them. Champagne moments - Joe C taking a skyer on the boundary but managing to stay within it , Henry Howeld with a rapid underarm run out, Hugh T's 3 wickets on debut, Alex Hill's blinding performance behind the stumps. Richmond were eventually bowled out in around the 42nd over about 60 short.
