In the Royal London National Final, Middlesex chased down Lancashire's total of 259 for 5 off 50 overs with one ball to spare at Kibworth yesterday. With the required rate up to 12 per over, Joe Cracknell (15 off 14), Luke Hollman (14 off 6) and Ethan Bamber (14 off 6) kept their nerve to secure the National title for Middlesex. Ethan hit a 6 to win the match in the 50th over with just one ball to spare!

Earlier Luke took 2 for 43 off his 10 overs; Ethan 0 for 49 off 10 and Hugh Teesdale 0 for 48 off 8. Joe Cracknell took a sharp catch to remove one of the Lancastrian openers.
