North Middlesex CC Girls Teams had special coaches at one of their recent indoor practices when they were joined by Beth Morgan and Maia Bouchier from Middlesex CCC Womens Team and Middlesex Womens Team Head Coach Sanjay Patel.

Middlesex Women are one of the top teams in the country and play in Division One of the Womens County Championship.Beth Morgan won the World Cup and the Ashes when she played for England. Maia Bouchier was Middlesex CCC 2016 Youth Player of the Year.

Beth, Maia and Sanjay ran batting and bowling practices for the girls and then Beth and Maia had a question and answer session with North Midd Girls. One of the girls asked Beth what was the favourite match that she had played in and she said that it was the World Cup final in Sydney when England beat New Zealand. Beth and Maia also signed a Middlesex first team shirt that will go up on the wall in the club room in the Pavillion.

The girls really enjoyed having their practice led by women county cricketers and their coach, and would like to say a big thank you to Beth, Maia, Sanjay and Middlesex
