Info about dates, times, venue and charges

Our indoor net sessions started on Tuesday, 12th February. Very good attendance and standard - an excellent start.

Further sessions
-

Will be held on: Feb 26th, March 12th and March 26th. All from 8.15 to 10.15. The nets are not available after the end of March.

To make things interesting, we have 3 nets from 8.15 to 9.15, and 2 from 9.15 to 10.15. This is the same as last year.

Venue -

The sessions will all be held at the Middlesex CCC Indoor Cricket School, which is in East End Road, Finchley, N3 2TA, which most of you will know well. For those who don't , the facility is above the Pure Gym.

New regulations for this year -

Entrance to the facility is only available from 8pm

For safeguarding reasons, changing facilities are not available for anyone under 18 after 8pm, so U18s must arrive in cricket gear.

The nets will be organised by the skippers of the Senior teams for 2019 (as elected at the AGM - 1s Joel Hughes; 2s John Mills; 3s Will Cracknell; 4s Tom Greenhalgh; 5s Charles Martland).

Hard to anticipate numbers on any given evening, but it's only fair to point out that the staff at Finchley are told to enforce the "max 6 people per net" rule, and do so!

Charges

These nets are (along with Lord's) the best and most expensive available.

As ever, new players get their first session free, and any current NMCC player who brings along a potential recruit also gets that session free.

Otherwise the cost is £10 per head per session, whether people stay for 30 mins or 2 hours - too complicated otherwise. Nick Friend has offered to collect money so please make his unenviable job as easy as poss!
