Midd's path to Lords begins with local derbies

Players looking to impress regional scout Adam Frais
- Peter Hollman

Peter Hollman writes -

The Middlesex Colts Association indoor season may have been scaled back to just the U11s age group in 2018/19 due to sparseness of suitable facilities in the London area. But with 10 teams playing over the winter with finals culminating in March at Lords, there’s plenty for our young players to look forward to.

Under coach Warren Chambers the players will be looking to emulate the Midd's previous Indoor World Cup stars from Dubai to Christchurch & particularly looking to impress regional scout Adam Frais ahead of the 2021 World Cup.

The boys first matches are this Sunday at the Bridge Academy, Laburnum Street, Hackney
London E2 8BA (http://www.bridgeacademy.hackney.sch.uk/)
with back to back games against Hornsey & North London starting at 10am.

There is a small viewing area should anyone be interested in watching & supporting & getting their live cricket fix. It’s a fast & furious game & with local rivalry its bound to be a good watch.
