To reach the County Cup finals, the U19s neede to beat South Hampstead in their last Group game and for Finchley to beat Stanmore in theirs. We won but sadly Finchley lost on the last ball of a thrilling game.

A highlight of the game at South Hampstead was the jet propelled opening partnership between Max Harris and Luke Hollman - 69 for no wickets after 3 overs. Max was later out for 45 off 15 balls. Luke made 25. Midd were then bowled out in 17.4 overs for 169. The Oppo were never really in the hunt being bowled out for 100.

This means that the Midd progress to the Plate Finals to be played at Ealing CC on Sunday 26 August.
