Week 15 quick update – 2s are Champs; 1s lose; all other teams win; U19s and 15s march on
2s win Middlesex 2nd XI Premier League for second year in succession
Much celebration as our 2s retained the 2XI Premier League Trophy they won for the first time in 2016. Skipper Mills hit a classy ton to set up a comfortable win against Brondesbury at the Midd on Saturday.
After doing well to bowl out leaders Ealing for 184 (Hughes 3 for 21, Vanderspar 2 for 33, T Nicoll 2 for 42, Hollman 2 for 24 and Bird 1 for 32 plus 6 victims for keeper J Cracknell), our 1s were bowled out for a disappointing 95 with only Faherenheim (20), Hollman (33) and Price (10) making double figures.
3s, 4s and 5s all won.
On Friday night the U19s beat Stanmore to reach the T20 Finals Day to be held at Ealing on 27 August.
Earlier in the week the U15s beat Holtwhites to reach the quarter final of the Middlesex Colts Association League Cup where they will play Stanmore away on 22 August (tbc)..
