Paddy Parker and James Belz will be greatly missed
- Millsy

Smoke machines and sophisticated lighting added to the atmosphere on Saturday night as our 5 Skippers shared their thoughts on the 2018 Season. Club skipper Joel Hughes picked out some of the highlights of an amazing year for our Club –

• Two England U19 players
• One player making a real impact in his first 2 County Championship games for Middlesex
• Young players making an impact in the Middlesex 2s and U17 squads
• Player in the trophy winning Middlesex Women’s team and in the Surrey Stars Squad which won the Women’s Kia Super league
• 1s finishing third in the Prem, beaten finalists in the T20 and in the Middlesex Cup Final on 8 September
• 2s and 3s Champions yet again
• 4s and 5s holding their positions in spite of the usual availability crises
• Increasing numbers of Juniors (both boys and girls).

Here are pics of the other skippers in full flow -

Millsy - who made special mention of the role played by the Rev this Season both as umpire and team mentor. An inscribed cigarette lighter had been specially commissioned to be presented to the Rev as a thank you.
