Here is the message our Chair recently sent to senior members -

“This is to let you know that our groundsman, Brian Cohen, will be leaving us in February.
During his tenure, Brian has transformed the quality of our pitches and outfield. He has achieved the highest rating for the outfield from the County League umpires over successive recent seasons, topping the table this year by a remarkable full point.

We shall find a suitable way in February to mark Brian’s departure and to wish him well for the future.

And in the meantime, of course, we shall be doing all we can to find a successor to maintain our ground to the same high standard.”

Oz will be missed by his many friends at North Midd.
