Club legend Evan Flowers became just the fourth player in MCCL history to reach 7,000 league runs, going to the landmark in the 1st XI's rain-affected abandonment against Ealing at The Midd.
Earlier this season, Ev hit his eighth league hundred in a nine-wicket win over Hampstead while filling in as captain for James Parslow, who was missing through injury.
He has since led the first team to top of the Premier League after 10 rounds of matches, with Twickenham captain Carlos Nunes next in Ev's sights, 400 runs ahead.
He went to 7,000 with a boundary through the slip cordon on Saturday, passing former Middlesex opener Paul Weekes' tally of 6,999 league runs in the process.
