On Thursday 23rd April, North Middlesex CC welcomed around 40 girls from 4 local primary schools to introduce them to the club and give them an opportunity to try their hand at cricket.

The day was organised, with support from Middlesex in the Community, as part of the National Schools Day aiming to spread the word about the upcoming Women's World Cup and to encourage the next generation of girls to take up the sport.

Our coaching team were very impressed with the girls' engagement and enthusiasm throughout the day and are hoping that some will return to join our growing Junior girls' section.
