Early start for our Under 10s and 11s at Lords on Sunday 19 March. Under 10s were first on in their Final against Ealing starting at 8.15am. A close and exciting match ended with a win for Ealing by 11 runs and 5 skins to 2.
The U11s Final followed at 9.25 and our Boys turned the tables on Ealing wining the Trophy by 10 runs and by 5 skins to 2. The cover picture is of the winning team. A video showing them lifting the Trophy can be accessed by clicking the arrow on the cover pic.

Great that Joe Cracknell and Luke Hollman were there to support our boys. Both Luke and Joe have played lots of indoor matches in their time helping the Midd to win a fair share of trophies here is some proof from 2016 -

So that’s the end of Indoor Cricket until the Autumn. Lots of people to thank for making the Indoor Comps happen and, in particular, the Midd’s own Peter Hollman who was the main organiser throughout. “Thank you all for making Sunday such a brilliant day. The matches were excellent & there was plenty of high talent on show. The atmosphere was superb & all played in the best spirit. The players & coaches should all be commended as should the parents & supporters.”

Easter Camp 1 – temporary move to Hornsey School for Girls

Because of the waterlogged state of our Ground, on Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 April, the Easter Camps will be run from the Sports Hall and outdoor Astro pitch at Hornsey School for Girls, Inderwick Road, N8 9JF. We hope that our Ground will dry out sufficiently so that we can move the Wednesday and Thursday Camp sessions back to the Midd. We will keep you posted on this.

Easter Workshops with Paul Frost for 14 year olds and older – weather permitting, these will go ahead in the permanent nets at the Midd on Wednesday and Thursday as planned.
