North Midd batting legend, ex Captain and general top man, Evan Flowers (from Newcastle, NSW) married stunning Nicole Stephansen (from Chicago) in Grosvenor Chapel yesterday.

A fantastic wedding was enjoyed by all, including a large contingent of Midd glitterati. One of many highlights was Club Skipper, Joel Hughes, accompanying Ev’s sister Maddy on the piano as she sang three songs in the Chapel. These included “Can’t Help Falling in Love”*. Not a dry eye in the house.

The all Midd ushering team of Alex Hill, Sam Webber, David Griffiths and Michael Edwards performed their duties with usual aplomb and charm.

With an Aussie marrying an American in London, the guest list was truly international - many people (including Sammy W) travelling long distances to share the day.

The Service was followed by a sumptuous reception at Dartmouth House where this picture was taken. More Midd legends joined the after Party as celebrations continued long into the night.
