Join us at The Midd on Friday, September 12, for our senior awards evening as we toast the unprecedented success of the last five months

North Midd have created history, becoming the first club in MCCL history to win the 1st XI, 2nd XI and 3rd XI Premier Leagues in a single (uninterrupted) season.

We completed the feat on Saturday, with the 2s and 3s both beating Teddington to get over the line. The 1s had clinched the title a week earlier, when Shepherd's Bush failed to win their game.

The 4th XI finished as the best 4th XI in the county, the 5th XI ended in its highest-ever position (and as the second-best 5th XI in the county) and the 6th XI placed fifth in its first-ever season.

Meanwhile, North Hill won the Esme Irwin Premier League and, on Sunday, the U21 side winning the MDL for the second time in three years. It's also the first time that any club has won the 1st XI Premier League and the MDL in the same summer.

Five league titles in eight days also made this the most successful week in the club's history.

To continue the celebrations, we hope to see many of you on Friday evening, when we host our inaugural senior awards evening in the clubhouse. This is separate to the end-of-season dinner on October 24 at the Victoria Stakes.

On Friday, it's an 8pm start, with the bar open from 7pm. There will be plenty of prizes - some serious, some extremely unserious - relevant and open to all six men's senior teams. Food-wise, we'll do a big pizza order.

This isn't a ticketed event, so there's nothing to purchase in advance, but please - to help us with numbers - RSVP via Pitchero or, if you're not a playing member, do let us know if you'll be coming along. The more, the merrier; with so much to celebrate, it would be great to see a packed house!
