Congratulations to the following individuals who will captain NMCC in 2024, pending approval at the AGM.

Thanks to them for their ongoing commitment, and thanks also to James Parslow and Ed Wells, who moved aside after last season.

Pars, already director of cricket, stepped in for the 1st XI for 2023 while we planned the way forward; we're delighted that Jacob Miltz has agreed to lead us, which allows Pars to return to his previous role as selection coordinator. Thanks to Paul Frost, who filled that position last year to prevent Pars from having to fill both jobs.

Wellsy, who took on the 2nd XI captaincy at late notice in 2022, has given an enormous amount of time and effort to the role, on top of his jobs as a barrister and Spotify influencer. He steered the 2s away from relegation worries in his first season and guided them to the edge of a title challenge last summer. Alex McDonald is replacing him at the helm.
