As always, there are plenty of jobs that need doing to get the place looking good for the season, particularly after a relentless winter of rain. This isn't an exhaustive list, but among the jobs are: painting walls, cleaning the sightscreens, installing the sightscreen panels, weeding the astros, painting the benches, putting up the scorers marquee, cleaning the shed, tidying up the container, getting the mobile nets ready, tidying up the changing rooms, and sorting out the kit.

That's plenty to be getting on with; logic tells you it'll be quicker if there are more of us.

So, once again, the senior section is making a day of it. Groundforce Day begins at 9am, followed by a BBQ at 1pm and a players' meeting at 1.30pm, with training from 2.30pm. The annual pre-season darts tournament takes place from 6pm.

We would like to see as many senior faces as possible, as well as those from the junior and girls' sections.
