Leggie takes 8 for 35 as England crash out

Massive credit to the England bowlers who bowled extremely well at us.
- Jason Sangha, Australia's Captain

Sad to report that England are out of the World Cup. Ethan Bamber (3 for 31 off 8) and the other England bowlers bowled really well to dismiss Australia for 127 in 33.3. overs.

This was considered well below par and so it seemed when England were cruising at 47 for no wicket. Then enter Lloyd Pope with his variations of leg spinners and googlies. He bowled brilliantly to take 8 for 35 in 9.4 overs (including snaring both Ethan and Luke) to secure an amazing win 31 run for Australia. Only 2 England players made it into double figures. Pope's 8 wickets are a record for the Under 19 World Cup.

That's not the end of the Tour. England now play off for 5th place in a match starting at 21.30 London time on Saturday. Not sure if this will be shown live.

Needless to say that we are all totally gutted and share the agony on the Mums' faces.
