Angus Fraser and Mike Gatting present Mary's OSCA

Mary epitomises everything good about the Club
- Mike Gatting, former England skipper

As reported in an earlier Article, Mary Cracknell has won the 2017 Middlesex Heartbeat of the Club OSCA. This was presented to Mary by Middlesex and England Legends Angus Fraser and Mike Gatting at Lords last weekend.

As part of the presentation, the following citation was read out -

“Mary Cracknell has been the cornerstone of North Middlesex CC for the last 15 years and epitomises everything good about the club.

As a Club Welfare Officer, committee member and mother of three boys involved at the club, she has been heavily involved in organising summer cricket camps at the club, All Stars Cricket and indoor cricket taster sessions for local schools. As social secretary, she goes above and beyond to ensure that the club hosts a wide range of social events and BBQs through the summer which has proven a great way to integrate the seniors and juniors together at the club.

On one occasion, after discovering that the host club had made no arrangements for tea, Mary dashed home and baked several cakes, and brought them back to the club for both teams to enjoy!”

Well done Mary. Richly deserved accolade.
