U17s
The weekend started with a comfortable win for our U17s v Stoke Newington in the County Cup on Friday night. Joe Cracknell (retired on 50) got us off to a lightning start hitting 3 sixes in the first over, including the first ball. After 4 overs we were 64 without loss! We eventually posted over 200 in our 18 overs. Stokey were bowled out for less than 100.

Selection for England U21 Indoor Squad
Congratulations to Luke Hollman (U16) and Henry Howeld (U17) on being selected for the England U21 Squad to fly to Dubai for the Indoor World Cup in September. Commiserations to Matt Cracknell (U20), Ross Richardson (U16), Max Harris (U16) who were in the 18 man training squad but just missed out on final selection.

4 Midd players in Middlesex U18 Team
Ethan Bamber, Joe Cracknell, Luke Hollman and Hugh Teesdale all played in the team which beat Kent on Sunday.

Head of Middlesex Womens' cricket at the Midd
Danni Warren visited the Midd on Saturday to lead our Girls' training session. This proved to be a great success. Danni has been a huge help to the Club in the past in particular when we were raising grant finance for our net complex.

Haringey Primary Schools’ Kwik Cricket Comp
We host this Comp every year. Unfortunately, the unrelenting rain whilst loved by the Midd Duck (see pic) forced it to be cancelled today 6.6.17. Hopefully the Comp will be rearranged for 15.6.17 so that the kids get to play on our superb outfield and so that the hard work of our star Groundsman Brian “Oz” Cohen in meticulously marking out 6 pitches and their boundaries will not be totally wasted.
