Around 40 members from our Junior and Senior sections braved the rain last Sunday to prepare our Ground ready for the new Season. The excellent BBQ laid on by Mary and Richard Cracknell was well received!

Sadly the rain did its best to wash off the newly applied white paint so we will need to redo much of that.

Jobs successfully completed included -

Repainting floors in Changing Rooms 1, 2 and 3
Assembling 3 new benches and a picnic table bought with help from an ECB Grant
Old Tennis Court – re-erecting green mesh to mask view
Brushing up and removing remove seedlings from the 2 non turf pitches
Sightscreens – replacing slats
Mobile net cage – putting on new net
Electronic scoreboards – checking in full working order
All Stars Promo Banner – displaying on Park Road frontage
Tidying Changing Room 1
