Get Into Cricket Sessions
For older boys (Y6 and above) who are new, or relatively new, to cricket it can be challenging to join a club team where the existing members may have been playing hard ball cricket for some years. It is also challenging for our coaches to cover such a broad spectrum of experience during training. We aim to provide cricket for all ages and abilities so this season we are looking at the option of running a ‘Get Into Cricket’ programme on a Sunday morning to enable these players to develop their cricketing skills thus enabling their transition into our Winter training programme and / or into our age group squads in future seasons.
These sessions are planned to start mid May but we will only be able to run them if we have sufficient interest. Please indicate on the registration form if these sessions would be of interest, either in the first instance or in the event of an unsuccessful trial.
Bursaries
We don’t want the payment of subs or of indoor training fees to be a barrier to any children being a member of North Midd. For this reason, the Club operates a bursary scheme.
Any families wishing to apply for a bursary towards membership fees should read our Bursary Policy and and submit the Bursary Application Form to NMCC’s EDI Officer who is Sunil Krishnan, at sunilkrishnan100@hotmail.com. Any enquires will be treated in confidence.
Donations
The Club is always looking to improve the coaching, practice and playing facilities we can offer to Juniors. We also need to fund our bursary scheme.
Any donations (however small) will be most welcome. Donations (including gift aid notifications) can be made via Pitchero (using shopping trolley icon in app or via Shop link on website).
We also welcome donations of good quality second-hand kit and cricket equipment.
