Normally Juniors become eligible for selection for Senior teams from U13 upwards. For the 2024 season, the general rules is that players must be in Year 8, and 12 years old on 1st September 2023 to play in open age matches. North Midd follows ECB Guidelines on Juniors playing in open age cricket. These apply to boys and girls and their overall aim is to allow young players to develop in safety, but not to spoil the game for adults.
